Turicaphon got founded on October 1st, 1930 in Zurich. Before and during the war they mainly released Swiss artists. In 1948 Turicaphon opened a studio in Vienna, releasing on Austroton. In Switzerland they founded Elite Special for all different kinds of music. All together, 100.000 titles got recorded for the biggest Swiss label.
