Jewel (3)
Настоящее имя: Jewel (3)
U.S. record label (1927-1932). New York, NY.
Releases were pressed by the Scranton Button Company for the Regal Record Company, Inc. and its successor, the American Record Corporation, although labels credit the "Jewel Record Company". Earliest issues had black-on-green labels, but the more common gold-on-red labels first appeared in 1928. Many Jewel couplings duplicate those of Oriole (3) and have catalog numbers corresponding to Orioles, plus 4000 (e.g. Oriole 2089 = Jewel 6089). Pressing quality of Jewel releases was inferior, even by Scranton's lax standards. The label was discontinued in early 1932.
