Funeral Sounds

Founded by Chase Jennewine and Mark Garza in September of 2012, Funeral Sounds is a record label and music publication. It operated solely as a music blog before becoming a record label a month into it's inception, under both Jennewine and Garza's direction. In late 2013, Jennewine resigned from the label, and Garza picked it back up the following January. Now run by Garza alone in their spare bedroom, Funeral Sounds' main focus of production is on cassette tapes and vinyl formats, which saw a re-surge in interest in the late 2000s.
