Latin American cult television channel founded in 1996 by the Hearst Corporation and Claxson Interactive, it focused on anime, adult animation, and electronic music and because of its focus on electronic music, the channel released albums from independent artists as a label.
Locomotion was bought by Sony Pictures Television in 2005 and was replaced by the Latin American version of Animax (who would be replaced by Sony Spin in 2011, now Lifetime).
