Armed Forces Radio And Television Service

A US military radio and television service network that was established in 1954 when the Armed Forces Television Services and the Armed Forces Radio Service were combined. It was renamed in 1969 to the American Forces Radio And Television Service, but reverted back to the original "Armed Forces Radio And Television Service" name in 1982.
