Padrão

Founded in 1972 by legendary Oswaldo Cadaxo, founder of the Equipe label in 1963. It was more for distribution of Equipe products, even though it had its own Padrão label. Padrão Distribuidora was hot in its market share, occupying the space when Codil distributor closed their doors at the time. Padrão owned various labels including Equipe, Tropicana (former Gravações Tropicana Ltda,), Masterplay and Musiplay. The universe of catalogue of Equioe / Padrão was sold to Audiobox in 1999, until it was later sold to the Disobertas label in 2022.
