Manufacturing facility and recording studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Performed pressing, plating, label printing and album fabrication services. Owned at one time by Amos Heilicher, founder of Soma Recording Co. and later owner of the U.S. Musicland retail music chain. Also owned a sister plant in Charlotte, North Carolina. Vinyl releases can be identified by the following sequences, which can be added to the LCCN: KB-##### 4-#### = 1964 5-#### = 1965 6-#### = 1966 7-#### = 1967 8-#### = 1968 In April, 1968 the pressing plant was renamed Sentinel Record Corporation, while the recording studio became Cookhouse Studios.
