The edel music group is the leading independent music company in Europe, marketing artists and products of all music genres via our worldwide network of subsidiaries and partnerships. The companies of the edel group are involved in almost any aspect of the music business - from manufacturing and distribution through A&R and marketing to professional services for third parties. In May 2007, "music" was dropped from the company name "edel music AG", renaming the company to "edel AG". In January 2011, the company was then rebranded to Edel AG. NOTE: Don't submit releases in this label. edel music AG is not the name of a label though it was the official company name. All releases on Edel imprints will carry the official company name to show that they hold the licences for their releases.
