Stichting Granny's Records
"Granny's Records" was set up as a non-profit organisation (Stichting) to promote popular music of the 20's until the mid '50's. The resulting LPs were issued on the "Grannyphone" and (for historic Decca material) "Panachord" labels. Granny's Records got hold of the Dutch Decca archives, which contain quite a few internationally released recordings, including many originally unissued alternate takes.
In the early '90s a few CD compilations were issued. In 2014 "Granny's Records" was put to an end because of bad sales.
Granny's Records was founded by Harry Coster, who was responsible for the transfers together with Chris Ellis and Herman Openneer.
