French World music label founded in 1974 by Alain Normand, after his encounter with Angolan singer Bonga, now co-directed by Alain and Patricia Normand. Label Code: LC 8191 . More than sixty major artists have recorded for Playasound, including Adama Dramé, Carlos Do Carmo, Parisa, Tran Quang Hai, Katrien Delavier, Hussein El Masry, Rassegna, Oedo Sukeroku Taiko, Bonga, Haydee Alba and many more. Playasound released more than 300 World music records still available today. Playasound is with - Air Mail Music, Manuiti, Crossing Records - one of the four components of Sunset France Productions.
