Philips Studios, Hamburg

Recording and mastering studios of Philips, located in Hamburg, Germany. Established 1951 and operating until December 1967, then renamed to Phonogram Studios, Hamburg. The studios themselves were located on top of a parking deck. Cutting engineer was Klaus Niedlich since the 1960s. The masterings can be identified by a "Made in Germany" in the Matrix, stamped around 12 o'clock, in a smaller letter type and upside down on side A.
