Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, the composers that form the Pinnacle Music Group have put under way an entrepreneurial adventure devoted to compose and sustain all type of musical activities, for advertising, festive songs, and music for movies. The group’s four main components, Kurt Bestor (the most well-known, with already more than ten distributed and widely known records, and a great quantity of soundtracks), Sam Cardon (winner, together with Bestor, of an Emmy Award for their music for the Calgary Winter Olympics in 1988) , Merrill Jenson and Lance Lenhart, have created head-boards for television (the ABC Monday Night Football theme) music for radio stations (KDFW (Dallas) AM News opening theme), interactive music for videogames (WarHawk, Jet Moto 2) and advertising announcements (Chevrolet Campaign ‘93). Their contributions to cinema include music to some trailers of very well-known movies (Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Homeward Bound) to scores for IMAX films, to complete soundtracks. The styles produced by PMG vary widely from Americana, to symphonism, to new-age, to whatever else is required.
