The palatine basilica of Santa Barbara is the church of the court included the whole of the Ducal Palace of Mantova.Costruita at the request of Guglielmo Gonzaga, Duke of Mantua and designed by the architect Giovanni Battista Bertani, It was built in two phases, from 1562 to 1567 and 1569-1572.
