Privatelektro

Label for experimental, electronic music, ambient, industrial and contemporary sound art, field recordings, soundscapes and visuals. Established in 2000 in Leipzig (Germany) as a collective of musicians with roots in the early 90ties DIY culture. The lack of developement in the regional scene, turns the label more and more into an international platform with a stronger conceptional direction, organising events like the "Invisible Traces Series" (2003) and the "Joint Venture Series" with Minimatika in Berlin´s Underground Club "Zentrale Randlage". Since 2003 the Label organises the Privatelektro Headphone Festivals. In 2008 the Headphone Festival took place in Pécs (Hungary) as the one in 2010 in Frame of the European Capital of Culture Pécs. Privatelektro has three kinds of releases: "pe_cd..." - regular cd / cdr releases. "pnet_..." - regular mp3 releases. "plive_..." - special mp3 releases of live sets
