Eastman School Of Music

Eastman School of Music is an American professional school of music within the University of Rochester, established in 1921. Notable Eastman alumni include singer Renée Fleming, Charles Daellenbach (co-founder of The Canadian Brass), drummer Steve Gadd, trumpeter Allen Vizzutti, scholar Horace Boyer, bass player, Ron Carter and composer Maria Schneider. Eastman Jazz Ensemble, Eastman Chorale and Eastman Wind Ensemble are associated with the school.
