Dualplover consolidated CD manufacturing was created in 1997 by lucas abela and swerve (7) from the dualpLOVER label to help reduce the prohibitive expense of producing CD's in the mid 90's by joining forces with other like minded labels in order to reduce prices for everybody, due to the low australian dollar at the time word spread internationally and they started producing discs for labels all around the world incuding Pica Disk, Editions Mego, Release The Bats Records, R.I.P Society and many others. They operated as a brokerage using various pressing plants including but not limited to regency recordings, AAV Regency and pmi most but not all discs they brokered have www.dualplover.com printed on the disc matrix. This profile is for releases which credit the URL "www.dualplover.com" in the matrix and should be credited as 'Manufactured By'. For the label please use dualpLOVER. In 2011 the label and CD/DVD manufacturing business were split. lucas abela now runs the label and swerve (7) runs the CD/DVD replication business under the name Cardboard Robot Creative Services aka www.cardboardrobotcreative.com. As of 2012 you will find www.cardboardrobotcreative.com in the matrix.
