Impact Sound
Настоящее имя: Impact Sound
Production company formed in May 1963 by Eric Easton and Andrew Loog Oldham. Brian Jones (5) signed a three-year contract with the label on behalf of The Rolling Stones soon afterwards.
The contract awarded Decca's 14% royalites as follows - 8% to Impact Sound and 6% to the band (as manager, Oldham took 25% of this latter 6%). The band took legal action against Oldham and Easton in August 1971, alleging coercion & fraud, over the unfavourable terms of the deal.
When Impact Sound is named alongside a producer on a release, the wording is invariably "Produced by [name] for Impact Sound" - if no producer's name is given, the LCCN credit "Produced For" may be taken as read. Do not credit as artist Impact Sound (Producer).
