Nipponophone Co. Ltd. (株式会社日本蓄音器商会) is a Japanese record company founded in 1910. In 1942, when the name “Foreign” was banned during World War II, the company was renamed 日蓄工業株式會社 (Nitchiku Kogyo K.K. / also known as ニッチク). In 1946, the company was renamed Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd.
