Mystery Lawn Studio

Mystery Lawn studio is the headquarters of San Francisco-based pop band The Orange Peels. The band has composed and tracked part or all of their albums here. Band leader [a471257] uses it as his own personal melody workshop, and he produces songs for likeminded musicians, too. Mystery Lawn has two pianos (a 100-year-old upright and a 100-year-old baby grand), vintage Altec 604 monitoring, a hand-built vocal microphone, some nice tube and solid state preamps, compressors and vintage guitar amplifiers. The studio began life in a Sunnyvale, CA Eichler, and relocated to the Santa Cruz Mountains in late 2013/early 2014.
