Perhaps Transparent Records

Perhaps Transparent is a New Jersey-based independent record label founded by Gabriel Walsh (2) and Stephen Connolly. The label releases psychedelic and psych folk music. Founded in 2000 as a ‘burn to order’ CDr label – one of the first of it’s kind. The label went through a few stages of dormancy but has been kept alive through digital distribution. In January of 2010, the label was brought back from the ashes and resurrected to focus on an ‘eco-friendly’ CDr series, digital distribution, and to sell off the remaining CD and Vinyl stock. There are plans to re-release older catalog titles as well as possible new CD and/or vinyl releases. In addition to its own catalog, Perhaps Transparent will offer digital downloads from other labels as well as embracing mobile technology to market and distribute its catalog.
