MZH Studio

Small, defunct recording studio located in Midtown Manhattan, officially operating under this name ca 1972-1976 and employing Alter Mastering Lab components. MZH is the initials of Morris Mamorsky, Jack Zimmermann & Thomas Hamm, who continued on as a production company. The original address of the studio was 56 West 45th St., N. Y. A new studio space was acquired on 2 West 45th Street in 1975, and renamed "Celebration Studios, a division of MZH" on December 1, 1976, although the old name seem to have lingered on in parallel until the studio closed down in 1985.
