Interdisc (2)

Interdisc was owned by Kurt Westman, Sture Wahlberg and Roland Ferneborg, the two latter having earlier started Swedisc. The parent company was called Record-material. The label concentrated on super-budget re-issues, selling exclusively through Åhléns department stores, starting in 1969. Åhléns also did the marketing, branding Interdisc as their label. Thanks to good sales, Interdisc were also able to produce new recordings.
