Paradise Studios was a multi media production complex located in Burbank consisting of 3 recording studios and a television production sound stage as well as a mobile audio recording unit and a remote television production unit - each housed in 2 state-of-the-art buses that normally resided at the sound stage. The Paradise complex was owned by renowned pop rock singer/songwriter/musician Leon Russell and also included Paradise Records - a record label distributed by Warner Brothers Records. Music videos, long form musical video projects and cable television programs also originated from the Paradise facilities, among them the weekly live music show "New Wave Theater" on USA network, music videos from James Taylor, Randy Meisner from the Eagles, several long form live-in-studio music specials featuring Willie Nelson, J.J.Cale, Bonnie Raitt and Leon Russell and remote concert videos employing the two remote recording units featuring coordinated multi-camera coverage and multi-track recording.
