echOmusic

Echomusic is a slow-moving independent music label founded in Athens, Greece. Musically the label is into all forms of contemporary music. Yiorgis Sakellariou started it in October 2004 by releasing his album Float (ec01), as a means to publish music works under his own Mecha/Orga outfit. Half a year later, Echomusic was about to start releasing other artists' music as well. It since obviously needed to be driven by less self-exposition motivations. This is how Echomusic started focusing on the attempt to present new music by up-and-coming artists and bands that had already been fellows over the last years. Themis Pantelopoulos covers post-production and graphic issues while John Pallas promotes the label to the press. At least since January 2012 the label is located in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
