Ravenous Records

Ravenous Records, a division of Ravenous Entertainment, was formed in 1998 by Jim Steinman and Steven Rinkoff. Their first signing was Irish boyband Boyzone (for the North American market). Distributed by Mercury Records U.S. first in 1998. When Mercury Records was folded into the then-newly formed The Island Def Jam Music Group (IDJMG), Mercury's pop roster was predominantly taken over by Island Records, including Ravenous Records (and Boyzone). The label has been long-since dormant.
