Le Garage was a Squatt in Geneva/Switzerland. It has been opened by the alternative scene in 1989 in an emergency need of housing people and cultural projects. People used to organise many activities such as Concerts, Theatre, Party, Restaurant, Bar etc... More and more Punkrockers joined, and it soon became THE home of street punks. It was shut down in 1997 by Landlords and Police. ... Ironically, at the Underground Bar's previous place, stands now a Police Office ... and Jail.
