BV Tapes

UK cassette-only noise and experimental tape label formed in 1992 and wound up in 1995. Fiercely independent and committed to producing unique and individualistic releases. Concentrating on European and Japanese artists their releases were notable for high quality content and exclusive hand made covers with abstract packaging. Hugely influenced by the 1980s DIY tape scene, they saw their output as a continuation of that ethic. Parent label to the subsidiary Metamorphosi label.
