Kemper Arena

Kemper Arena, now known as Hy-Vee Arena, is an 8,500-seat indoor arena located in the West Bottoms district of Kansas City, Missouri. The arena hosted many concerts from the time it opened in 1974 until the late 2000s. For a time in 2017, the building was known as the Mosaic Arena, with plans of a multipurpose center, however, the naming reverted to Kemper Arena once again in 2018, with a capacity reduction from 19,500, before taking on its current Hy-Vee Arena naming the following year.
