Red Barn Recording Studios
Настоящее имя: Red Barn Recording Studios
US recording studio, located in Big Sur, California.
May also appear as "The Red Barn", "Red Barn Studio", or even "The Hidden Barn, Big Sur, CA" or other variation.
Red Barn Recording Studio was originally built in the 1970s by Alan Jardine for the Beach Boys so that they could have an isolated and creative space to hang out and create music. Jardine dismantled an existing barn from one of the original Big Sur homestead families, the Pfeiffers, and then built the studio. Alan Jardine has owned the ranch for 25 years and Red Barn Recording Studio was completed in 1989; it is now available for recording sessions.
The barn features a live-end/dead-end studio with all the bells and whistles and then some, including a separate control room and playing area mounted on mechanical rubber so no walls touch the exterior and transfer sound, a five-ton air conditioner, dimmers with track lighting and speakers delivering 1,200 watts per channel to the control room.
