Gigantes Do Jazz

Brazilian version of the series I Grandi Del Jazz, released in 32 fortnightly fascicles sold in newsstands, published by Editora Abril SA between 1980 and 1981. Hard cardboard boxes with capacity to pack 8 fascicles were sold separately and, as a closing act the Benny Goodman's 1938 "Carnegie Hall Concert" double album was released. All fascicles contained a 12" LP, a 8 page history of the artist and a 1/32 part of a book about the history of jazz: "História do Jazz", by Joachim-Ernst Berendt.
