The Wes Farrell Organization
Настоящее имя: The Wes Farrell Organization
US music conglomerate founded by Wes Farrell in 1968. Initially it included the production company Coral Rock Productions Inc., the label Senate Records and the publisher Pocket Full Of Tunes Inc. Through its existence it founded multiple companies (Anvil Productions Inc., Commercial Management Group Inc., Concept Marketing Intl., Coral Rock Commercials, Farrell Entertainment, Pathways United), labels (Anvil Records, Birchwood, Chelsea Records, Roxbury Records, Hot Lix) and publishing companies (American Dream Music Co., Chelsea Music Co., Common Good Music Co., Coral Rock Music Corp., Every Little Tune Inc.). It further expanded its publishing catalog through the 1970s by purchasing or entering into equal partnerships with publishers and becoming administrator for others.
Originally located in New York, after a few years of Farrell working primarily in Los Angeles thanks to the success of The Partridge Family, the head office moved there in 1974. A branch office in London was opened in 1973, which founded its own UK companies and publishers. The Wes Farrell Organization shuttered its doors in December 1977 shortly after selling its publishing catalog to The Entertainment Company.
