Sofratecso

Full name: Société Française de Technique Sonore. Independent French vinyl record plating and pressing plant. In the early seventies, it produced around 150,000 discs per month; a rather small quantity, but renowned for the high quality. Director: André Mercier (1969), M. Bourdarias (1972). In the 1960s Sofratecso was the main provider for Le Chant Du Monde of which Mercier was also commercial director.
