Auricular Records

Founded in San Francisco in 1989 and moved to the East Coast (Connecticut) in 2015 with strong connections still within the San Francisco Bay Area. Auricular Records was founded by Alan Herrick and Jenny Liang Herrick and features a roster of artists from around the globe. Auricular specializes in the genres of ambient, experimental, drones, noise, industrial, sound art and difficult music. Auricular began as a cassette only label and expanded to CD and netlabel releases over time. Most noted for their compilation series called "Auricular Audio Magazine" as well as albums by the likes of Nux Vomica and many others.
