New Method

Also referred to as: - New Method Studios Warehouse in Emeryville, CA (3623 Adeline St) which was used in 1984-86 as a punk rock venue. Previously for decades the location of a dry-cleaning business called New Method Laundry, there was a very large sign on the roof which said "New Method" which meshed well with the progressive zeitgeist of the SF Bay area punk scene and was adopted as the name of the venue. The building has since been torn down, remediated for toxics left behind by the dry cleaning business, and the lot rebuilt as housing.
