Maxwell Street Market

Outdoor marketplace in Chicago, originally clustered around the intersection of Maxwell & Halsted Streets on the Near West Side. The market was gradually displaced over the years by the building of the University of Illinois at Chicago campus and redevelopment of the surrounding neighborhood.
