Kisstadion

The stadium situated in the territory of the Olympic Centre of Budapest has been one of the most well-known venue of sport and cultural events in the past 50 years. National and international competitions, as well as concerts featuring world famous performers were hosted in the Kisstadion already. From November until March the arena is occupied by the hockey players. The Kisstadion is used by the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation. The winter season usually lasts from mid November until the first week of March. Weekday mornings the stadium is occupied by pupils learning to skate, and in the afternoons clubs hold their ice hockey trainings here. There are mainly youth team matches played on the weekends. The construction of the Kisstadion started in 1959.
