The Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, Greece. The Piraeus Municipal Theatre was built in 1884, following the neoclassical architectural style, by Ioannis Lazarimos, a Piraeus architect and professor of the National Technical University. It was inaugurated in April 1895. Inside, there is a horse-shoe shaped italian type hall comprising the auditorium, boxes and balconies with an overall seating capacity of 1,300.
