Zakim

Zakim is a Boston-based label that specalizes in cutting-edge electronic music by local artists. During its first three years of operation it was strictly a vinyl label, with most releases solely distributed regionally. In 2017 Zakim plans to add MP3, streaming, cassette and promo-channel based releases to its repertoire. Artists who have released on Zakim include John Barera, Doctor Jeep, Cirrus, Graphs and Alt-OK, amongst others. Zakim's main website also serves as a general music blog which documents happenings within the local scene.
