Madlib Medicine Show

The Madlib Medicine Show series was first announced in November of 2009 to be released on Madlib's own label Madlib Invazion. It was originally planned to be a 12-part series, 12 CD's and 6 LP's, on a once-a-month basis. However, it took nearly twice as long as expected to release the series and in the end it consisted of 13 releases: 13 CD's, 6 LP's and 6 limited edition LP's. The odd numbered are original hip-hop, remix, beat tape and jazz productions; the even numbered are mixtapes of funk, soul, Brazilian, psych, jazz and other undefined forms of music. In February 2012, "The Brick" was released, a package consisting of all 13 CD's.
