Kupei Musika

Founder Rafael Anton Irisarri (A.K.A.- Luken) of Seattle-based Kupei Musika is a boutique label dedicated to promoting stylish electronic dance music. The name transliterates from the Russian word “kupej.” It roughly means “first-class wagon” and that is precisely their concept – moving units of unparalleled dance music. Although headquartered in the U.S., it is closely aligned with the thriving Chilean, German and Scandinavian scenes. Unlike other labels, each artist shapes the imprint’s sound aesthetic – with each release displaying its distinctive flair, all cleverly held together by the same higher-level standard for quality.
