For label use Avenue (6). Only use for company credits. UK budget company run by Gordon Melville (a.k.a. Mel Gordon). The label ran from the late 60s to the mid 70s specialising in cover versions of contemporary hits as well as the occasional original releases. Many artists were purported to have recorded anonymously on Avenue productions, including a young Elton John. The most prolific artist on the label was Alan Caddy, who was company's Musical Director.
