MRT Technology LLC (MRT) was an optical disc manufacturer located in City of Industry, CA, USA, established in October 1996 as a joint venture partner and/or subsidiary of Taiwan's Ritek Corp. In 2000, it was announced that MRT was expanding into a new plant in Ontario, CA, to be operational by 2001. Credited in the CD matrix as 'MRT/CA'.
