Lil' Bit Of Gold

Lil' Bit Of Gold was a sub label / series of Rhino Records.from 1988 to 1989. that used the 3" Mini CD format exclusively for all it's releases. There are 60 commercial,releases in the series, and 2 promotional only samplers that came with an issue of "Digital Audio" magazine. Packaging was a long-box type configuration with the miniature cardsleeve and disc placed on a 12" X 31/2" backing card sandwiched inside an injection molded clear plastic shell. . Some copies included a free black plastic 5" adapter to be attached to make the disc compatible for standard disc players.
