Berkshire Music Center, currently known as the Tanglewood Music Center (TMC), is an American annual summer music academy in Lenox, Massachusetts. TMC operates as a part of the Tanglewood Music Festival, an outdoor concert series and the summer residence of Boston Symphony Orchestra, and hosts performances, master classes and workshops for emerging professional musicians. The Center was founded in 1940 by BSO's music director Serge Koussevitzky.
