Suzumi Records

Released and distributed by Melodica Music Stores, Nairobi, Kenya. Suzumi label was at the time one of Melodica, it's best adventures to Afro-Rock. Our's was the only Kenyan label that released a series of three 7" singles sometime during the late 60s or early 70s. Two releases were by Geraldo Pino and the other by The Wings. The music was Afrobeat with touches of psychedelia, all releases making prominent use of the Hammond B3 organ. At the time Santana and Osibisa were great about world music. Melodica just followed suit and very glad we are for the Suzumi release.
