Jehu And Chinaman

UK cassette label launched on 12/12/2012 by Steve Dewhurst. All releases are handcrafted and limited to usually less than 50 copies in physical format. They are also available in digital format via bandcamp. In December 2014 the label was re-named to J&C Tapes because several people supposedly were offended by the "Chinaman" part in the label name. The names "Jehu" and "Chinaman" refer to a pair of ponies on Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s doomed expedition to the South Pole. They were the first animals to die, being known to all involved as the weakest creatures on board the Terra Nova.
