ENREC Studios

Recording studio located in Tamworth, Australia, in premises formerly operated by Hadley Studios, Tamworth. ENREC was first established in Tamworth in 1983. It first appears in discogs there on [r6846886] (see images). The earliest listing of the studio on a release in discogs is on [r6493032] in 1991. It re-located to Kurri Kurri in 1992, and Norma O'Hara Murphy's website says she recorded an album at ENREC there in 1992 (see submission notes). [r9893543] was recorded at the Kurri Kurri location. It later moved to Sydney for 18 years. It appears at that location in discogs on [r9016707] and [r3219399], in 2001 and 2002 respectively. The Hadley Studios, Tamworth website says that ENREC took over Hadley in Tamworth some time after the latter closed in 2002. An article in the Daily News (Warwick, Queensland) says this occurred eight years after the Hadley closure (see submission notes).
