KAO Canada
Настоящее имя: KAO Canada
KAO Canada was a CD manufacturing plant located in Arnprior, Canada. This plant originally began in 1983 as floppy disc manufacturer Didak Manufacturing, which in 1986 merged with the Japanese KAO to become KAO-Didak. In 1993 the company reorganized and became KAO Infosystems Canada and in 1994 began CD manufacturing (glass mastering equipment followed in 1996). In April 1998, KAO Infosystems closed their manufacturing plant in Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States and moved floppy disc equipment to Arnprior. MPEG and video production studio services were also offered out of Toronto in the late 1990s.
The plant became Zomax Canada in 1998 when Zomax Optical Media, Inc. acquired the North American business and certain assets of KAO Infosystems.
