Sonopress Pty Ltd was taken over by Arvato Digital Services Pty Ltd in December 2007, with the company's matrix branding beginning to appear on releases in early 2008. In December 2012 the company went into liquidation (halting production at their Sydney pressing plant) and was deregistered in 2016.
