Vinyl plating and pressing as well as tape duplication plant in Owosso, Michigan, USA. Operating from 1952 until 1972, mainly for Motown Records. Pressings can be identified by an "ARP" stamped in italics into the runouts. The plant burned down on October 28, 1972 and was never re-erected. ARP was a wholly owned subsidiary of Viewlex, Inc. together with the three other pressing plants Sonic Recording Products, Inc., Allentown Record Co. Inc., and Monarch Record Mfg. Co.). Known to have pressed for; -Stax -Vee Jay Records Big Tree Records Also, some Atlantic/Atco 45's of 1967-68 were pressed by American Record Pressing of Owosso, MI; these pressings bore an "-AM" suffix on the label. Please note that Atwell Record Pressing, Inc. used an ARP-#### scheme in the runouts.
